PPF

Titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) with Interlock surface finish. 12/14 taper. CCD angle: 128.6º. True proximal press-fit. No weakening of greater trochanter. 13 primary sizes, 9 revision sizes. Clinical experience since 1991. Slim neck. Standard and Lateralized options.

Uncemented stem with optimal proximal press-fit (PPF) and laterally straight design to avoid interference with the greater trochanter and to facilitate the stem insertion.

Rotational stability is given by the rectangular cross-section with rounded edges so that an immediate primary stability can be achieved. An early bone on-growth and thus secondary stability is facilitated by the corundum sandblasted Interlock finish.  Slim neck to increase the ROM. Standard and lateralized options available.

Features

  • Optimal proximal press-fit (PPF) thanks to distally/medially oversized rasps.
  • No weakening of the greater trochanter as the lateral edge is fully straight.
  • Great rotational stability through the rectangular cross-section.
  • Reduced hoop stress due to the 2mm radius on the edges.
  • Immediate primary stability so that patients can be mobilized quickly.
  • Improved secondary stability with an Interlock® surface finish (corundum sandblasting).
  • Direct trial reposition using the modular rasps and trial cones (standard and lateralized).
  • Morse taper 12/14.
  • 13 primary sizes in both options, 9 revision sizes.
  • Material: Ti-Al6-V4.
  • CCD-angle: 128.6°.
  • Clinical experience since 1991.
