For over 20 years, the Bi-Metric® Hip stem has been delivering excellent clinical results – including stem survival of 99.3% at 10 years.
The Bi-Metric® utilises a 3° bi-planar taper, proximal 1/3 porous plasma spray coating and forged Titanium Alloy substrate to maximize proximal off-loading, provide excellent biocompatibility and a modulus of elasticity that is closer to bone than Cobalt Chromium.
Additional Features:
Cemented and Uncemented Primary and Revision stems and Cemented-only Calcar replacement stems make up the range.
Primary stems
Standard and lateralised offset options, combined with 7 different neck lengths, allowing for better soft tissue tensioning and appropriate anatomy restoration, without leg lengthening.

• Metal on Metal articulation capabilities including the M2a-Magnum large diameter modular head.
Optional plasma spray HA coating
